Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Swipey AI ("we", "us"), operated at docwest.co.uk, handles personal data. We are the data controller for the information described here. Because conversations on a companion platform can be sensitive, we have tried to write this plainly rather than burying it in boilerplate.

Data we collect

How we use it

We use your data to run the service, keep accounts secure, respond to support requests, meet legal duties, and understand which features matter so we can improve them. We do not sell your personal data.

Lawful bases

Under the UK GDPR and, where relevant, the EU GDPR, we rely on contract (to provide the service you asked for), legitimate interests (security and product improvement), consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing), and legal obligation.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, payments and analytics, under contract, and with authorities where the law requires it. Providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards recognised by law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your account data sooner.

Children's privacy

The service is strictly for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it. See the Responsible Use & 18+ Policy .

Security

We use technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection, but we work to reduce the risk and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] . UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Your use of Swipey AI is also governed by our Terms of Service .
